The National Housing Development Trust offers a range of services and programs aimed at providing housing opportunities for Caymanians who may otherwise not qualify.
Affordable Housing Initiative (AHI) Program
The AHI program is designed to assist individuals with Affordable Housing by allowing them purchase NHDT constructed homes.
Build on Your Own Property Program (“BYOP”)
The BYOP program allows Caymanians to build pre-approved NHDT homes on their own property.
Home Repairs
NHDT funded home repairs are provided to Caymanians who are not otherwise able to afford necessary home repairs.
Government Guaranteed Home Assisted Mortgage (GGHAM)
The GGHAM program is a NHDT administered program provided to Caymanians to help obtain home ownership. This service is currently not active.
Lease To Own (LTO) Program
The LTO program is the NHDT’s home ownership program for Caymanians who do not qualify for a traditional mortgage.
